Verdict

This is a weak seller and the vote is given to MISS XU XIA, who is preferred to Betsy The Best and Cause For Applause. The selection does at least have winning recent form to her name and although she disappointed last time, that was in a much better race than this. We know she handles this surface and she sets the standard. Betsy The Best is at least unexposed but she has been well beaten in both her starts to date and it is hard to enthuse about her chance. Cause For Applause was well beaten in her maiden last time but that was quite competitive and it was a slight improvement on what she had previously shown, so she could be the one to chase the selection home. Talulah Bells hails from a shrewd yard so a watching brief on the market is advised, but for the selection we will stick with Miss Xu Xia.
