Verdict

It's hardly surprising that Shark Hanlon is sending ARDGLEN into the fray once more as the seven-year-old, who will be racing with an 8lb penalty, will be much better in than for future handicaps and with regular pilot Brian Hayes able to claim his 7lb allowance a four-timer should be forthcoming. He'll find this trip more suitable than the 2m4f he scored over at Clonmel on Sunday while City Of Doral is suited by the distance as he showed at Hexham, though he'll be 12lb higher here. Square Sphere, a winning point-to-pointer, bumper and hurdler, is the type to do well over fences this season but may just need this after a long absence and Steel Magnate jumped poorly when fancied at Perth last week.
