        Verdict

        Taffe was second at Catterick earlier this month but a few of these look capable of stepping up on their debut efforts. Coup De Grace is one, while Vexillum showed up well for a long way over 7f at Newbury and may be suited by the drop in distance. RHAGORI's third to Firdaws at Salisbury looks the best piece of form on offer, however, and Ralph Beckett's filly can get off the mark here. Glen Ellyn was a 26,000gns yearling and looks best of the newcomers.
