Whitecrest won on the turf at Lingfield 12 days ago, her second victory in three outings after a frustrating run of placed efforts. John Spearing's filly is on a career-high mark now, however, and may struggle here. Best Be Careful also looks too high in the weights now while Ice Trooper was very disappointing at Beverley last time and Yasmeena has a bit to prove after only beating one home on soft ground at Sandown. SURELY THIS TIME finally got off the mark at Newcastle earlier this month. Kevin Ryan's gelding is still on a decent mark and should follow up here.
