Journalistic's recent second to Silver Lime over this trip at Ffos Las was his best effort to date and he is definitely one for the short-list here along with Pilgrim's Rest, who showed up well for a long way on his debut at Sandown and will strip fitter here. Eshaab also displayed plenty of promise on his introduction at the Esher course, though may do better when tacking longer distances next year, while Fine Resolve is a newcomer to note. CIRCUS MONDAO lacks experience but cost $160,000 as a foal and is closely related to champion two-year-old One Cool Cat as well as US Grade 1 winning miler Aragorn. He could be the one to beat.
