Verdict

Shanklyns Dawn is the only course and distance winner having won this a year ago from 2lb lower though he was in much better form then. RUDY CATRAIL (NAP), a dual winner between the flags, had been racing over shorter distances before making all for a facile victory over this trip at Wexford. He's been hit with a 9lb rise but that doesn't look enough to prevent a follow up. Glacial Shadow, who was 17l behind, has a pull in the weights so should get closer without reversing the form. Both Quiet Account and Bishops Quarter are returning from long breaks but Loch Luatha has won over the trip and his recent poor run was over hurdles. The hunter/point-to-pointer Crutches Lad makes his handicap debut but doesn't look badly treated.
