Bondi Sands, the only newcomer in the line-up, cost E260,000 and is closely related to two-year-old Listed winner Sarrochi. Stag Horn started a short-priced favourite over a mile at Carlisle but couldn't get close though was staying on at the finish. The Frankel colt Herman Hesse looked in need of further at Sandown so should do better as should KHALIFA SAT, unfancied over a mile at Salisbury but going on nicely at the finish. Merryweather was always in the front rank at Nottingham and wasn't stopping so she's another likely to appreciate the step-up in trip.
