In depth

Verdict

The veteran Pettochside has won five times on this fast track including from much higher marks and shouldn't be dismissed nor should his stable companion Firenze Rosa, who was caught close home here last time and is operating from a very lowly mark. Wiley Post has won over the course and distance though appears better over slightly further these days and though Brandy Station won easily at Ffos Las a 7lb rise makes this more difficult. Dream Catching will be having his 19th start and has never run over the minimum but KODIAK ATTACK made a bold bid for a hat-trick when caught in the dying strides at Chepstow. Sylvester Kirk's charge was attempting to concede the winner 21lb that day and can get back on the winning trail.
