BEAT THE JUDGE turned into a smart hurdler last winter so coming here on a mark of 68 with a 7lb claimer in board he'll think he's been let loose. At the other end of the weight scale, De Vegas Kid has won three of his last four including over 7f on this track. He's 6lb higher than his latest victory at Brighton and any further ease in the ground would be a concern.
