Verdict

Winning bumper and hurdler Dasmyhoss has only had three starts over fences and been placed in them all. He'll enjoy the conditions and ran very well for new connections at Kilbeggan last time. Western Sea was having only his third start over fences when just failing to hold The Granson, who was receiving 7lb, at Tramore and it will be a surprise if he's not in contention. AYR OF ELEGANCE, a winner over hurdles at Limerick in July, was badly impeded on her chasing bow at Tramore but still managed to finish a close third. With that under her belt she can take this though Lord Schnapps had shown potential when placed on his debut over fences at Cork in April.
