Another tough race here for punters to call with not much between many of the runners, but the main protagonists look to be Muhtadi, Golden Thunderbolt and Lady Bob Back and we will give the nomination to Lady Bob Back. This mare from the Maurice Barnes yard is well-in on her best form and although she was well beaten behind My Line last time, this is a lot easier and with conditions to suit she will not be far away. Muhtadi rates the main danger as he is a course and distance winner and he ran as though returning to form when third behind Magic Bengie last time at Catterick. But he is not the most consistent of performers and the percentage call is to take him on. Golden Thunderbolt is another well-weighted on his best form but he has failed to complete the course on his last three runs so is readily opposed. Of the remainder, the booking of James Davies for Littleton Valar catches the eye so he is worth noting in the market, but for the winner in a desperate affair we will put forward Lady Bob Back.
