    Verdict

In the penultimate race, we will side with Panmure ahead of Toad Hall, Now Then Sid and Billie John. Danteco needs to turn back the clock to feature, while Toad Hall is not a forlorn hope based on his Hexham win from a four-pounds lower mark in June. Now Then Sid likes it here and remains competitive from his current mark, while an eight-pounds rise for his Cartmel win for dual course and distance winner Karo de Vindecy will make things tougher for him. Brave Effect is not obviously well weighted, but Panmure is just three pounds above the mark from which he won at Hexham in June, and he holds Karo de Vindecy today based on that form. In the context of this race, the form rates as solid, and he gets the choice. However, Billie John continues to run well and the handicapper is beginning to give him a chance, so he is respected, but the lightly-raced-in-recent-times Infini has something to prove at present. As indeed do the others so we return to the selection , which is Panmure.
