Noble Gent is the tentative choice in a wide open nursery, Ahmedy and Mulaqat are two live dangers. The selection, as with many of the Godolphin juveniles, improved on his debut run. He was still a little green on his second outing but still managed to beat the Michael Stoute trained Stage Gift in comfortable style. The experience will not be lost on him and he could have got in here on a very fair mark. Ahmedy was also successful last time, beating subsequent winner Congressional in game fashion. Once again there should be more to come and he will be a tough nut to crack. Mulaqat has taken a while to find his feet but came good at Yarmouth last time when beating another Godolphin horse Always Emirates. A repeat of that effort should see him involved in the finish. Seven Samurai is another to consider for each-way purposes, but for the winner we return to Noble Gent.
