Pugnacity has to prove her effectiveness over fences and Persian Prince may find that this is a shade more competitive than the race he won the other day and we're going to take a chance with FLAG HILL. The selection has to race from out of the weights having previously shown little aptitude for racing under Rules but his pedigree suggests that he may prove better suited by jumping fences so he could be worth chancing at a price. There's some encouragement to be taken on that score as he's been in good form between the flags, winning easily at Mordon last month, and may now be able to show improved form under Rules. The penalised Persian Prince has obvious claims following an easy success last time but Pugnacity has something to prove in this sphere with her one previous chase start a little inconclusive. Ginger's Lad should figure in the finish with a clear round whilst it will be interesting to see if Cherryland attracts any support with headgear applied and a professional taking over from an amateur but a chance is taken with Flag Hill.
