Carnacrack, Trooper and Underley Park look to be the three to focus on here, with the vote going to Carnacrack. Running through the field. Underley Park has taken a hike in the ratings following a good second to Brush A King at Southwell last time. He sees out three miles well and should be ok at this trip and we are going to get more of an idea as to how good he is following this race. Carnacrack will have no problem with the trip and, seven pounds higher than for his Kelso success, holds solid claims with a rider booked who knows what it takes to win races of this nature. Trooper loves it here, having won three times, and, as he's only five pounds higher in the ratings for the most recent of them, has to be on the shortlist. Arthur's Kingdom won a selling hurdle here but makes his chasing debut now; Jumbo's Dream has not won since 1999, and Fidalus, winner of a bumper, a chase and three hurdles in his Native Ireland, has not raced for 814 days. This brings us back to the main contenders as we see them, and chief among these is Carnacrack.
