La Perrotine was most impressive last time and looks set to follow up here at the expense of County Classic and Opera Hall. Howard Johnson's five-year-old comfortably beat Farne Isle over course and distance last time. She got on top from the last and saw her race out well. She clearly handles soft ground really well and she also has the size and scope to improve as she gains further experience. County Classic was beaten almost ten lengths by the selection in that Sedgefield event but does enjoy a six pound pull in the weights. It shouldn't be enough to reverse the form but he will be difficult to keep out of the frame. Henry Daly saddles Opera Hall who disappointed over the two mile trip last time. She ran well behind Lady Zephyr on his previous outing over a similar trip to today's and a repeat of that effort would see her in the shake up here. The others make very little appeal and so it looks an easy task for La Perrotine who should make it back to back victories
