Verdict

The Very Thing is preferred to Along Long Story of Micky Hammond’s two runners in this, though he is hard to catch right and is only 1-30. Henry Brown is back on a winning mark and Brian Hughes keeps the partnership intact but SIR APOLLO is only a pound higher than when successful over course and distance in November and first-time blinkers could bring about some improvement. Ballynagran won in a higher grade at Wetherby but is 4lb higher and hadn’t shown much previously.
