LIKE A LION's only success came over this trip at Newcastle, where he had Homer Stokes a length behind, and he bounced back with a close third in a Class 5 handicap there last week. Pink Parfait also won on the latter track over 6f in September and makes her handicap debut. Fieldsman has won around here though the majority of his dozen victories have been on Turf. Darbucks completed a double on Turf last summer but hasn't run since July while Port Noir was only headed close home over the trip at Wolverhampton last month.
