In depth

Verdict

Midnight Shuffle is a progressive sort and Sunday’s Musselburgh winner will make a bold bid for a quick follow-up if he’s recovered from his exertions. Aubis Walk found only one too good in his first two runs over hurdles and was still in touch when falling at Ayr last month. WESTERN JILL showed signs of inexperienced when a well-backed third at Southwell earlier this month. She’ll know more today so gets another chance, though French import Jamaicaine should be monitored for any market support.
