Goldan Jess ran well when chasing home Dr Dream at Bangor last month, will relish the underfoot conditions and gets the vote to go one better today with the main dangers rated as Ramvaswani and Bluto. The last mentioned would have claims on the form shown here in December but he has disappointed in two starts since then and looks best watched at present. Micky Hammond's High Country was well held at Wetherby last time and may struggle to give weight away all round, while Square Dealer is hard to recommend on recent form. Ramvaswani has shown a consistent level of form in this grade and should again be thereabouts but more solid claims are held by Goldan Jess, who gets the vote.
