FREEDOM FLYING looks to have live each-way claims in a race where it will be interesting to see if there's any support for Norman Beckett and Tar. The selection hasn't been seen since disappointing at Leicester in January but that run came on heavy ground and she has shown her best form on a faster surface. She made the frame over course and distance in similar contests last year and was a winner at the track back in 2007 and should be involved. Tar hasn't had many opportunities over obstacles so has scope for further improvement but his supporters will need to forgive a poor run last time. It would be no surprise were Jim Best to place Norman Beckett to advantage sooner rather than later and it will be interesting to see if he attracts any market support with the better ground expected to suit. Bold Pioneer hasn't excelled in a brief flirtation with jumping fences but ran second over course and distance on his most recent run over hurdles and is another to note but Freedom Flying has solid claims and could be hard to keep out of the frame.
