Verdict

DONTPAYTHEFERRYMAN has an obvious opportunity to open his account over fences although Still At Lunch and Bugsy's Boy are of some interest on their chase bows. Brian Ellison's gelding boasts an excellent strike rate over hurdles and he should win races in this sphere too if his debut second to Knockavilla is anything to go by. The first two pulled a long way clear of the third that day and he's fancied to go one better. Big Burrows was less than fluent at his fences last time so will need to brush up in that department but The Gloves Are Off has been in relatively good form over hurdles and rates a danger on his first run over the larger obstacles for this yard. Bugsy's Boy has won races on the level and over hurdles and is an interesting recruit to chasing as is Still At Lunch who performed to a similar level over timber. Poseidon has already had a couple of runs over fences game and looks to have something to find with Dontpaytheferryman.
