Three horses stand out here, Port Moreno, Beau Artiste, and Vitelli, with the latter getting the nod. Beau Artiste has only been narrowly beaten on his last two outings. Four lengths second to Kingkholer at Musselburgh on his penultimate start, then a very good neck second to Sir Night over course and distance more recently show that he will be breaking his maiden tag shortly. Both Port Moreno and Vitelli are four year olds with penalties to shoulder. Port Moreno made mincemeat out of his rivals when scoring by 11 lengths at Towcester on his latest outing and looks a horse with a future. Vitelli came good when showing real battling qualities to dead-heat with After Galway at Hexham on his debut over hurdles and will be almost certain to improve on that performance. In what may be a closely-run affair, we feel that Vitelli can come up trumps again today.
