In depth

Verdict

Kingrullah ran here three times last season and won twice but may find today’s conditions quicker than ideal. Landsman also lacks a recent run, as does Rocco, but Capone proved his well-being with victory at Uttoxeter and the fitting of a tongue-tie seems to have wrested further improvement from Charlie Mann’s five-year-old. Bangor third Beach Break will have stamina to prove but holds Kajaki on the form book. Ingleby Hollow also tries a new trip and remains out of sorts but this looks the optimum distance for ELYSEES (NAP) and Fergal O’Brien’s charge is very well treated with Connor Brace taking off a further 3lb. River Frost has been chasing and Richie McLernon prefers Melody Of Scotland.
