A potentially-informative contest for the track and time of year. Swaffham Bulbeck, Evander and Informateur are all 2-2 here over hurdles. The latter should have a future over fences but connections would have been hoping for a much slower surface with a similar comment applying to Mr Muldoon. Lord Napier would have been the best of these over the smaller obstacles but was struggling when last in action and MING DYNASTY makes more appeal. He has chasing experience and has travelled over from Ireland. Despite a fall at Galway at the end of July, he was still going well at the time and can build on earlier promise at Tipperary. Overcourt looks a chasing type but this is a hot contest.
