Verdict

Doing Fine can race lazily but he is a very strong stayer and arrives off the back of a victory at Uttoxeter in August. Bbold’s stamina is less certain but he was doing his best work at the finish over 3m at Bangor last time. DANDY DAN has a cracking record when fresh so his absence since December is not as much of a concern as top weight. It could be that Kim Bailey’s seven-year-old has more class than his rivals so he gets a tentative vote, though it would be no surprise to see an improved effort from the 2018 winner Brian Boranha and Petite Power’s yard is in cracking form. Theligny and Duc De Grissay both ended last season with a victory so look the pick of the remainder.
