This appears to be a match between Classic Moon and Oneforsaturday and the former is taken to win it. Our Kenny is rated far superior to all bar the market leaders but he's been well beaten on the majority of his starts and it's difficult to picture him still being in contention at the last although he may be able to pick up a little prize money by taking third. Oneforsaturday has performed with credit in bumpers and should make up into a hurdler in time but the receipt of 7lbs from his main rival may not compensate for his lack of experience. Connections will be keen to gain revenge as they had a well backed favourite turned over by the Lambe/McCoy team at Hexham on Saturday but they may have to play the bridesmaid's role yet again. That was one of two winners on Saturday for the Irish trainer and champion jockey so the yard is clearly flying and this Winged Love gelding has stronger claims on the book than that pair. He made the frame just once in four bumpers but he wasn't beaten far in a useful race at Punchestown in April last year. He showed ability on his hurdling bow at Downpatrick in March and showed the benefit of that experience and the outing (it was his first run since December) when keeping on well to win by eight lengths at Perth in April. This will be the quickest ground that he's encountered but we'll put our faith in the judgement of his connections and select Classic Moon.
