In depth

Verdict

Experience always helps in this sort of race so TEAMtalk side with the Champion jockey aboard Beyond The Pale who is having his first run on these shores. His last effort came in a valuable bumper at Fairyhouse where despite being well backed was unable to sustain his effort at the business end of the race. He should have too much here for his rivals. The main danger could be the twice-raced Cumbrian Knight who ran a reasonable effort 19 days ago at Perth but will need to improve on that effort to beat the likely favourite. Any market moves for any of the unraced horses should be noted carefully.
