Only three have much appeal here, and from a shortlist of Grasscutter, Breeze Out and WINGED FARASI, we'll side with the last named. A ready winner on his hurdling debut, albeit in a poor Cartmel race, he seems to have taken to jumping straightaway following a decent career on the flat. He's carrying almost a stone more following that success; the firmer ground he'll find today should help, and a repeat performance may be enough. Grasscutter is consistent, but consistently second, with five runners-up spots in his last six runs. James Lambe and Tony McCoy combined last year to win this race, and the combo have Breeze Out here, chasing a hat-trick of wins on English soil after doing well in Ireland. He may find that he's carrying too much weight this time though, which is why he's opposed. Sue Smith's not sending out many at the moment, and Dreams In Blue is her only runner on the card. This is his third jumps outing, and he's not really shone so far as he learns about the game. Winged Farasi has started his jumps career well, and is selected here to continue that success.
