Verdict

Backstage Lady showed a big improvement when runner-up at this track three weeks ago and can figure with further progress. Indian Voyage stepped up on his earlier efforts with a second at Hexham last time and should also give a good account though Yippee Kiyay's latest third at Stratford behind Spirit Of Shankly is arguably stronger form and he makes more appeal. However, Donald McCain has a good strike rate here and a chance is taken that December's point-to-point winner GROUSE LODGE is good enough on his debut under Rules.
