In depth

Verdict

Stanley Bridge failed to cope with a 9lb rise at Carlisle last time having landed a double before that. There's a chance that run may have come too soon after his latest victory and he's not easily ruled out while Lawgiver has claims on his second to Majestic Mayhem in a higher grade handicap at Hexham last month. However, SURPRISE VENDOR is a winner without a penalty as he landed a conditional jockeys' race under today's rider at Kelso last time. Stuart Coltherd's charge is taken to go in again here as this looks no tougher.
