Amjad ran better in a similar contest over course and distance on good ground last time but has yet to prove his form on a testing surface so he looks best left out of calculations and in a distinctly moderate contest and what can only be a tentative vote goes to Monash Lad, who gets the vote over Misttori Belle. The last mentioned is less exposed than most of these and a market move for the five-year-old would be of interest. Floodlight Fantasy has yet to win a race over hurdles but may appreciate the drop to this class, while Goodnight Dick has been well held in similar grade of late and is unproven on ground as testing as this. Marginal preference then is for Liam Corcoran's Monash Lad, who has shown gradual improvement of late and has proven form on testing ground.
