Overbranch had to work hard to land the odds in a novice hurdle at Leicester last month and Malcolm Jefferson's mare may struggle to follow up under her penalty so preference is for Cornerback, with Bobatim rated the pick of the remainder. The selection won her only start in a bumper at Wetherby in November and Nicky Richards has been quick to put the mare over hurdles. It is a move that may pay dividends straight away. Howard Johnson's Tigerific disappointed on her only start in a bumper here in April but may do better now switched to hurdles, while Don McCain's Camelia Walk has given little real cause of optimism so far. Ferdy Murphy's Bobatim showed some promise in a novice hurdle here last year and has to be respected but Cornerback looked useful when winning that bumper and gets the vote to make a winning start to her hurdling career.
