Mick Easterby has his string in fine fettle and We'll Meet Again is taken to get the better of Ethan Snowflake and stable companion Broadway Score. The selection ran well recently behind Colemanstown on the all-weather at Southwell and had previously put in a decent effort at Wetherby in a similar race to this. He appears to be steadily improving and looks well capable of beating this modest bunch. Ethan Snowflake scored on his handicap debut. He was never far away throughout and, having headed the runner-up before the final turn, kept on well to score a comfortable victory, he looks the main threat to the selection. Broadway Score has regressed on the flat, having been rated in the high nineties just over a year ago. He has only shown modest form over hurdles, but does get in here on a decent mark for his handicap debut and it would be no surprise to see an improved performance. All in all a very competitive event, but we will give We'll Meet again a tentative vote.
