Expect a much better performance from Loustic Collonges, who ran very green on his debut, however this competitive affair may rest between his stable companions, Chevet Boy, Julius Caesar and Charlie Egerton's Aurazure, with the last named just given the vote. It is not often Howard Johnson runs three in a novice hurdle and it would be no surprise to see all them in contention at the last. Julius Caesar is improving with experience and put up an excellent effort when third to Villon at Hexham last time. Chevet Bay was well in contention in the race won by Hot Weld before making a mistake at the ninth., and as we mentioned Loustic Collonges is much better than he showed on his debut. However Aurazure appears to have the best form on show having finished a close up third behind One Five Eight at Southwell last time. He was headed on the run in so should be suited by this drop in trip. Of the others High Rank and Like A Lord have both shown plenty of ability, but Aurazure looks the one to be on today.
