Red Man, College City and Sands Rising look to be the leading lights in this handicap chase and the vote is given to Red Man. The selection deserves to win a race as he has been knocking on the door of late and he was a good second behind Cedar Rapids at Catterick last time. That was his first effort over fences and with more likely to come he looks the one to be on. College City would have claims on the pick of his form but he is better on a faster surface and for that reason we will oppose him on this occasion. Sands Rising fell last time out but he will handle the ground today and he has run well on this track in the past so for those reasons he is worthy of consideration. Powder Creek is better than he has shown of late so could go well at a price, but for the winner we will return to Red Man.
