Verdict

With plenty of these now looking a little high in the weights this could be the perfect opportunity for KELLS CASTLE to get back on top at the expense of Nicozetto and Finbin. The selection has found just one too good on both of his last two starts, the latest behind a well handicapped subsequent winner. Both of those runs were off this mark, a pound below his last winning rating, and the way the weights have worked out here he looks primed to score. Despite having scored over a much shorter trip on his last visit to this track there are no concerns about stamina for Nicozetto with the gelding scoring nicely over a marathon trip last time out. Because of that he is now at a career high chase mark but based on his best hurdles form is still weighted to challenge. Finbin is on good form but is now contending with a career high rating and Palmers Peak has never won a handicap off a rating this high.
