Verdict

Not the strongest seller in the world but MASAFI seems an obvious choice to land it with Coronado's Gold and Le Brocquy trailing in after him. The selection drops into this company for the first time having previously been competitive in much better contests in his prime. It is true that he is nowhere near that standard now but proved some ability remained with a solid effort after a long break in a stronger heat last time out and he should come on for that. Coronado's Gold seems to be up against it at the weights having to find plenty on the selection but he's been on fair form on the level recently which offers encouragement of a big run. Le Brocquy is closely match with the pick on official rating but his recent form is off putting while Smart Street is weighted well enough to challenge. This isn't a race to get carried away with but Masafi has really solid claims.
