        Verdict

        Mitole has won three times at the highest level so far this year but over longer trips and was defeated by Imperial Hint over 6f at Saratoga in July. The latter has placed in the last two runnings of this and looks sure to go well having beaten Firenze Fire a neck in the Vosburgh at Belmont in September. Catalina Cruiser has landed a hat-trick of Grade 2 contests this year and Engage finished ahead of both Whitmore and Hog Creek Hustle when winning a Grade 2 sprint at Keeneland recently while SHANCELOT was caught close home in a Grade 1 Sprint Championship here last time by Dirt Mile favourite Omaha Beach. Jorge Navarro’s charge may be the one to side with on that form and gets the vote. Japanese raider Matera Sky finished in front of Imperial Hint when runner-up in the Golden Shaheen in Dubai back in March but has struggled since.
