A few of these are returning from a break but wouldn’t be far away if fully wound-up. Absolutely Dylan, placed on this card 12 months ago, is one and Late Romantic should find a race this season, though would have had more chance had the heavens opened. Renwick started favourite on his chasing bow last month but never figured after a blunder at halfway and these fences are even more unforgiving. LOUGH SALT has yet to win over the larger obstacles but has finished second three times around here. The handicapper has dropped him 6lb and, after a spin on the Flat and another over hurdles, Richard Guest’s charge should be cherry-ripe now. Newtown Lad has bags of experience and should not be left out of calculations.
