Lady Gloria was a convincing winner a week ago and can score again under a 6lb penalty. Colchium, Lavenham and Greek Easter make up the shortlist. James Given has his horses in fine fettle and the manner of his filly's victory a week ago on the all-weather suggested that there is plenty more to come. A slight concern is that she has only run once on turf however she wasn't beaten far that day and by Diktat out of a Pivotal mare, her pedigree screams soft ground. Lavenham steps up in trip but is yet to win past seven furlongs. The stable are in good nick although she may struggle to give weight away all round even if she stays. Colchium has been running consistently well of late and the form of his last run has been franked by the winner scoring since. House Maiden and Dansil In Distress are both consistent sorts and warrant respect, however of more interest may be Greek Easter. She has shown very little of late but this drop in trip can bring about some improvement but it will certainly need to. Lady Gloria is a filly in form and gets the confident selection.
