Very little for us to go on in division one of the maiden and it should pay to concentrate on the runners from the leading yards here, so on that basis Alazeyab, Anmar, Glass Harmonium and Souter Point receive attention, and the tentative vote goes to GLASS HARMONIUM. Sir Michael Stoute's colt is a half brother to a 7f winner at this age. Pedigree suggests that he will be happy on this sound surface and he can probably take this on the way to a middle distance career. Alazeyab is also related to juvenile winners over sprint trips and has plenty of stamina in the genes too, and from a yard in form and with a good strike rate, he is respected. Anmar is typically well bred for a Godolphin representative but he may be better at three, while Souter Point may prove a better proposition, being related to a multiple US winner including as a juvenile. Charlie Smirke looks an interesting contender for Gary Moore, while Hydrant can improve for a satisfactory debut and get closely involed. For today though we'll take a chance on Glass Harmonium.
