Prince of Thebes, Bushman and Buhar Shumaal are the trio to consider here, with Bushman taken to follow up a good win last time. Bahar Shumaal has run well in two good handicaps of late, looking just a shade one paced at the business end of his races. It is therefore strange that he is brought back in trip-his form suggests he needs further than this mile, and his ability to handle an easy surface is questionable. However, the booking of Ryan Moore is interesting, and he may try and make all. Bushman ran well on his debut on the all-weather, finishing a staying on third at a big price, before confirming that promise with a decisive win at Windsor. The second has franked the form since off a seven pound lower mark than Bushman races off here but the step back in trip is not in his favour. Prince of Thebes has come down the handicap since scoring at Ascot two years ago, but is yet to win since then. He ran well to be a close second at Warwick last time, but is three pounds higher here, and the easier ground is not likely to help and he is opposed. A chance is taken that the exciting Bushman can prove equally as effective at this shorter trip.
