Tungsten Strike is selected ahead of Balkan Knight and Algaretto. Amanda Perrett's charge is the best in on official figures and if able to reproduce his Ascot form with Baddam, he looks to be the one they all have to beat. The aforementioned arguably finds this trip on the sharp side but is sure to give his usual honest performance. Balkan Knight would not want too much more rain as he seems most effective on genuinely fast ground. Allegretto is inspiringly bred and should have come on for her first outing at York. The visor is applied for the first time this afternoon. Mount Kilimanjaro posted a 20/1 shock at Nottingham when accounting for The Last Drop but will need to improve in order to trouble the judge. Bulwark races as if he keeps something to himself whilst globetrotting Land 'N Stars has shown little for Richard Fahey since leaving Jamie Poulton. Under The Rainbow is interestingly upped in grade following an encouraging fourth in the Chester Cup. Tungsten Strike appears to be still on the upgrade and looks the percentage call.
