Migration won the Lincoln under a big weight at the start of the month but this looks a tougher assignment. Sir Michael Stoute won this last year with a mare and Potapova landed a Group 3 over course and distance last August, though was only fourth behind Mutasaabeq in a Group 2 at Newmarket subsequently. The latter, however, carries a penalty for that success. LIGHT INFANTRY won a Group 3 on soft ground as a two-year-old and ran a couple of cracking races at Deauville last summer against top-class opposition. He looks the pick of the weights in this though the going will suit Checkandchallenge, who goes well fresh.
