A disappointing turnout but all appear to have some sort of chance. Metal Merchant won at Chelmsford and Ayr last year and Saxon King ended last season with a victory on heavy ground at Haydock. LOCAL DYNASTY is the obvious one having won three of four starts in his first season, including one in a Listed race on his final outing. He does have a big weight to carry but is just preferred to Physique, who will also handle conditions and has had a run this term, and the recent Kempton third Legend Of Leros.
