      Verdict

      Rushford looked one to follow when scoring at Windsor but then ran poorly at Bath where the firm ground may not have suited. Pons Aelius made all over 1m4f at Newmarket and looks certain to make a bold bid while Suspicious, who won over a mile at Doncaster in August last year, is surely better than we saw at Wolverhampton earlier this month. First Officer only had two to beat at Salisbury and didn't enhance the form at Ascot while Last Ammo finished last at Goodwood. TUDDENHAM GREEN has been racing over trips too short and was battling on over 1m3f at Haydock. He's by Nathaniel out of a 2m winner so should have the stamina to make his presence felt.
