        Verdict

        The beautifully-bred Flying Honours started a short-priced favourite for his debut at Newmarket but never looked like winning. He'll be expected to gain compensation though STARNBERG ran a race full of promise at Ascot, staying on strongly in the closing stages, and normal progress will see him difficult to beat. Lisboa ran green at Newbury but was another doing his best work at the finish while Grenham Bay, a half-brother to two winners and from a stable in great form, is a newcomer to note.
