CLOWANCE ONE makes most appeal as he not only arrives on the back of a decisive victory on the all-weather over 2m but remains open to progression with the five-year-old having had just eight career starts to date. West Drive is hard to assess as he's yet to operate over a trip further than a mile and a half. He was a close-up fifth in the Cumberland Plate last time and his running style suggests he could prove effective upped to this staying trip. Tenzing Norgay is respected but David Menuisier has struck form with a vengeance of late and the Pulborough handler fields Slunovrat. Not seen since October, he's no stamina concerns, handles cut in the ground well and must be monitored in the market.
