Progressive last season, LEODIS DREAM (NAP) began this year where he left off when showing further improvement to win at Thirsk on his handicap debut. There looks plenty more to come from David O’Meara’s charge though Mutawaffer may finish closer to the selection today having blown his chances with a poor start at Thirsk. Kurious wasn’t disgraced in Pattern company last term despite failing to threaten and this could be more her level while Dancing Warrior finished a credible third in Listed company in France when last in action in October. Good Luck Fox won a novices’ race over track and trip in August and Recon Mission is a dual winner in Ireland debuting for new connections while both Prince of Rome and Reticent Angel showed plenty of speed on the all-weather last season.
